XM1541 cable makes C64-SX freak out.

Ah! I'm getting closer :D
I changed some settings here and there, and now it does show me a part of the disk's content. However, it gives a read error (23,READ ERROR,18,01 whatever that may be) but at least there is some communication

I think I'm going to resolder the whole cable, make it a bit shorter, and firmer, you never know if it might help
The connection seems to be right, but just to be sure...

Track 18, sector 1 is the beginning of the directory. Off-hand I can't remember which error 23 represents but if the drive reports an error on the directory track, something is happening unless the software generates ghost errors when the connection is lost.
