Shipping a processor

whats the best way to ship an oem athlon 64 processor

Put it in something Anti-static and then inside something ridged so the pins don't bend and wrap it in lots of bubble wrap. Try to avoid those little foam packing things, they are next to useless. Bubble wrap is your friend!

PINK bubble wrap. The clear stuff isn't anti-static but the pink stuff is.

For pin-grid type chips, I like to use anti-static foam to protect the pins. You can get it form any electronics supplier.
