Or functionally similar.

Trying to replace a half dozen monitors on my test bench with something that can accept CGA->VGA inputs.

I'm in minneapolis and of course would prefer something local, but I'm willing to pay for shipping too.

I think the NEC Multisync 3D and possibly the 2A will also
run CGA/EGA/VGA using an adapter. These are probably
easier to find. The Mits AUM-1381 monitors are scarce and
the ones I've seen on eBay are priced way high. I lucked into
one locally from a guy on craigslist a few years back.

Found some discussion here:

And a guide to making a NEC 3D adapter for a CoCo that could probably
reworked for IBM CGA. I think NEC actually made an adapter but I've
never seen one.

Apples & oranges. There's a big difference in that the DiamondScan has numerous outputs, and you can leave all the different cables attached at once, which is what makes it such a great bench monitor. That is, unless you don't mind rummaging around behind the thing to swap-out cables every time you switch to a different computer or video standard.

Yeah, I agree the Mits is way cooler with all those connections
and switches on the back :) But the NEC 3D might actually be
more convenient because it has only the single signal cable
and you could plug the adapter onto there before attaching to your
CGA card. So you wouldn't even need to reach behind the monitor.

If the price and availability were the same I'd take the Mits, but
they seem to be fairly scarce. I did see several of these listed
on eBay awhile back for $200+

All this talk about the Mits I finally dragged mine out and
decided to open it and see if I could touch up the settings
to improve the brightness. It was working okay but was
extremely dim. Fortunately I was able to find the sub brightness
control and adjust it to get a better picture. Also adjusted
the focus a bit. It looks pretty good now. The only problem with
this one is the bezel has some cracks, almost appears as if someone
dropped it at one point, but not sure. It would be possible to
repair the bezel but I dont think its worth dismounting the
CRT to repair it. Think I'll just put it back together and use it :)

I check the shipping calculator for that monitor and it was only $235 to Ohio!

Surprised no locals wanted it for $60, it even has a warrenty.

Since he'll only ship by freight, I'm wondering if that's the costs for one, or a pallet full (as shown in the pix)? I meant to send the seller a question, but forgot. I'll try to 'member it today.
