Hello I have built a floppy emulator SSD project here http://microwave.gr/giannopk/computer.htm
The problem is than I cannot make it boot the PC-XT. I have formatted it using the /s option to make it a system disc, so it has what it needs to boot the PC, but when I insert it into the ISA bus it cannot boot.
I suspect the PC-XT can only boot from A: drive? So how can I cope with my floppy controller that does not let me disable the A: drive so that I can use the SSD as an A: drive instead?
A little bit of help will be greatly appreciated.
PS. the card has an onboard bios, It should boot I guess....
