Yeah that's the way I ordered them back in 1992. My 386sx with 4 MB Ram only had a 5.25 HD drive do I had no real choice.

BIN? or did you just end it for the buyer? Just curious. Sorta surprised it went for that much but it's certainly an older copy. I keep trying to find/buy a copy that has Microsoft's name on it.

That was the BIN price. Yeah surprised me too. Last time I saw Microsoft OS/2 1.0 was about 3 years ago and it sold for about $250 if I remember correctly. I have a copy of MS OS/2 1.0 but it is very flakey on install. IBM's version 1.0 works without a hitch.

I have Microsoft OS/2 for the Epson Equity that I will be selling soon. I'm going to try it on my XT 286 just to see if it works first.

16-bit OS/2 had poor documentation. The best way of solving problems was finding a forum with a helpful IBMer.

This one is version 1.0, on 5.25 HD floppies. I also have the IBM version of OS/2 1.0, but I'm not planning on selling that any time soon. I'll post about whether this one will install on my XT 286 or not.

The Epson branded version of OS/2 1.0 installed on my XT 286 without a hitch. It installs on a DOS partition right alongside DOS for dual booting. I should have it up for sale tomorrow.
