For Sale: spotted on Craigslist (continuous sightings)

Thats why when i do buy something vintage, or anything older than 5 to 7 years old for example, i always source spare parts. OR if it can be upgraded, i go that route. That's how my Portege M400 Core 2 DUO holds its own against i3 and i5 laptops.

Sometimes it is just worth it to pay for a machine that works and has all the stuff to go with it. Buying spare parts can be expensive and take a lot of searching.

Not sure about the jumper or where it's going on the system. Booting without a floppy is totally fine, he'll just need to hit ctrl+reset I think to bump it into Apple Basic (it will just sit there with the Apple // screen otherwise) but nothing bad will happen.

Apple II
Excellent feedback. Additional feedback this morning:
I revised the listing. Have the appler monitor all so far works good, it boots and when I connected an apple disk drive it started the disk drive. Looking for the start disk... model A2S1048

Thanks for the post on the Model 80 in Boca... I've emailed them asking if they're willing to part it out if it doesn't sell. I would dearly love the two floppy drives/bezels and case door (as mine was damaged in shipment). Of course, if I can get him to part it, I'll any other internals that I can get him to ship too... up to even the whole thing if shipping isn't overly killer.

Maybe not... but still ~ $100 or so total for an unknown working-condition unit, plus probably dealing with improper packaging, which is why my existing beast is damaged! The guy is willing to part it out after Christmas, so we shall see!
