Sound Cards For Sale Tracker

That 1320 isn't priced too badly, considering how rarely they pop up. Especially considering that it will give you Game Blaster compatibility without the custom-program PAL/GAL chip (just add the SAA1099 chips)

So far as the MPU-IPC-T, nice find. The last complete one I saw went in the $150 range. I got lucky early last year and picked up a CIB one along with an open-box one, two BOB's, and the a few midi cables for $60 shipped. I was quite happy with that find. Heck, come to think of it, this was right before I found the lot of 2 NIB MidiMan MM-401 cards for $30 shipped (one was missing the custom 9-pin -> Midi in/out cable, but that's not too bad to wire up by hand)

I already have a CT1320 (although without volume knob) and I do not want to start buying a large inventory of CTs. :) Very nice on your finds. I hope to find more cool stuff once I have more time to search. :)

If you want, send me a close-up pic of the card missing the volume knob - so long as the solder pads/holes are still there, that should be an easy replacement, assuming that you're looking to fix it (or have it fixed)

Very generous of you! This is the eBay listing picture. I can take a picture this evening or this weekend when I find the time (and remember). :) It looks beyond easy repair to me.

Wow - that CT-1330 went for $160 + $11 for shipping for the bare card!

eBay idiocracy... Card went unbid at $80 for multiple listings and then gets bid up to $160? For what? the two Phillips chips with stickers on them? But if he had listed it for $160 BIN no one may have touched it and even scuffed on how over price it was... Sort of like that in box 1350 earlier. I am sure it could sell for the asking price especially if the seller open it up worldwide... But then you take the risk of shipping worldwide!

Another one was the SCC-1 pamphlet/ad. 10 minutes (or something like that) before auction is over with ZERO bids someone hits BIN! Really? Why don't I ever get buyer's like that?

Yeah, really. It had over ten hours to go, and I'm tied-up with a newborn and felt like the $4.00 difference in price wasn't worth letting it slip by. If that's idiocracy, so be it.

Interesting indeed. There is / was a MPU-IPC-T sales brochure for sale as well.

I got lucky and bought a SCC-1, 100% complete in box yesterday. I will test it next month. Paid €125. Not bad. :) I am bouncing back with a vengeance from 2010/11 so far: 3 LAPC-Is, 6 MPU-401ATs, 2 SCC-1s, 1 MPU-IPC-T, 4 RAP-10s, 2 MPU-IIAT, 1 S-MPU-AT and 1 SCD-15. I also have some modules and additional stuff (NEC, BOBs, APL, C64) I need to look at as well.

Newborns are fun. We have 1 too. My MIL lives with us so that is the perfect solution to still have some personal time. :D

Decided not to pursue another RAP-10 in AT (on eBay.de) yesterday. I really love those but they are pretty commonly available really. And how many do I need? ;)

Oooh Testy, new borns will do that ;) I checked on my desktop and indeed purchase is ~10 hours before unlike what my smartphone says (~10 minutes). Makes it a bit more understandable. Although, honestly if you were willing to buy it outright why wait until now? What if someone had bid and now you had to actually bid to win?

Just put it out there when you are ready to cash in. No point waiting around. :D

I'm not waiting for maximum returns; I'm waiting because I need them for an online museum project I keep threatening to put up. Once that's up, I'll sell/trade them, but just my luck the interest won't be there.

Yep, I bid $152 but was only third! While previous card went for $87. I was totally unprepared for that.
Wow. I bought one earlier this year for $25 plus $7.80 shipping. Bare card. No CMS chips - but who cares? - I have several of the SAA1099 chips! It went through the rounds on ebay not once, not twice, not three times but four total rounds of 7-day auctions. Started at $150, then $100, then $50 (I offered $25, declined), then $50 again - I offered $25 again, and he accepted, and I had my first SB Pro 1.0 with the dual FM chips.

I was happy. With that. Sad that I missed purchasing the man's IBM 5170 AT for $70 shipped.

Wait, what CMS chips on a SB Pro card are you talking about?
