There are much cheaper used ones as long as you don't want box, manuals, etc. That one is geared toward someone who wants a "collectable" (whatever that means) so it is a bit on the expensive side. Although, another one complete in box but clearly used sold for about the same price a few weeks back.
 
the price of a CT1350 has certainly risen in the last year or so, I suspect primarily fueled by Chuck's decoding of (what I call) the "lockout" chip, unavailable for years, which enabled one to use the Adlib sound chips with the board.

For the price of a few capacitors, I think that I'd go for a quick recap of the board prior to purchasing another, unless you can find a gimme price at another location.

I am gonna try to fix it. I've got a thread in the hardware support section if you want the full story. Certainly part of the problem with the card was caused by my own ignorance about what to do with it when it first stopped working, so I've gotta make sure I've corrected what I 'worked on' before prior to doing anything else to the board.
