46 years of 'trek

Okay, I just couldn't stand it any longer.
46 year anniversary of TOS on google.
I groked on 46, and, baring group theory(which I'm still wading through), couldn't latch onto anything.
So what's so special about 46 ?
I will add that early in the CST AM, for a couple of hours, it was google as usual.

Although I am very partial to TNG, DS9, and VOY, I grew up watching TOS and it is my favorite.

Neat, you can click on the anniversary logo on certain places and it'll take you to different rooms. And when you've completed the mission, it'll LMGTFY to a search of the series.

Honestly, I think any excuse to re-do their logo gets a few extra clicks and links and comments. To me it's a PR stunt. Not that I'm opposed to it, it's smart and I do usually hover over it to see what they're yappin about.
