Not particularly rare, IMOHO.

Are these things valuable? I've got a pile of gold-plated 2N1538 TO-3s as well as a bunch of TO-3 200V GP zeners.

Don't know anything about them. They came in a box with a HUH Electronics S-100 card and a Hammarlund SP-600.

The bidding starts at 5.95$. So I guess we will find out if they are worth anything. We can always send them to the shredders if they don't sell.

Anything with gold will have a value. You can find retail scrappers online. Doubt you can get a price for less than a pound of material.

If memory serves, I listed it for 1¢ with $4.99 shipping, and shipped it in a first class envelope. I had it listed for almost a year before it sold.
