Picked up what appeared to be a 5150 today. Upon closer inspection the system appears to be a 5150 clone with a IBM Personal Computer top cover on it. The system came with a working 5151 monitor and IBM 83-key keyboard. It has a full length IBM Black and White Parallel and a floppy controller that I believe from a 5150 due to the wider backpanels. It also has a Seagate ST-225 hard drive and controller and a TEAC FD-55BV half-height 5 1/4" floppy drive. Currently showing a 1701 error during startup and floppy read error. Any Ideas on motherboard manufacturer? Has a NEC 8620L9 8088 chip and a Mitsubishi BIOS and marked "Made in Taiwan"

The board, to my eye, appears to be standard Taiwanese ERSO derivative. It's not a 5150 cone (a 5150 has only 5 slots spaced more widely than yours.) So a 5160 case.
The 1701 refers to problems with the hard disk.

Not a 5160 case as there is no IBM identification anywhere inside or outside. Also has slightly different power supply than 5160. I believe it was a 5160 clone that someone "Frankensteined" at some point since it has the wide black backplane Video and Floppy controller cards out of a 5150. Still think it was a good score since it came with a working 5151 monitor and F keyboard. May part out the case to complete another 5150 I have.
