Well, yes...and no. If the co-pro is the same speed as the processor it will work. If they are different soeeds, and the BIOS supports asynchronous co-pro speeds, it will work. Some BIOS don't allow the async operation, and others which do, may limit co-pro operation to only half the CPU speed. (So if you have say, a 33MHz CPU and a 20MHz FPU, the FPU will only run at 16MHz in such a system, not the full 20MHz).
