Altos ACS 8000

Anyone by chance have the schematic, or Users Manual for this machine? Specifically with the main board assembly of # 8500-0005.

Ah...you must be the bloke that got the one on eBay....that guy started at $899 a few months back!!!

Hi, thanks for the reply! Unfortunately the manaul online at bit savers is for a different level PCB assembly. Also for some reason all the illustrations, except the schematics, are missing. Hopefully Erik has one that will work otherwise I'll keep searchin !

I checked hi and lo...could not find it, but I know I had it recently. I must have left it with a friend when we were working to fix my 5-5ad. It will turn up eventually.

What are you trying to do?

Did you ever find the 8500 schematics? I could use them too, I just got an Altos 8000-15A off eBay and I don't get any console output when I power it up. Traced the port back to the 1488 and the pin just stays high.
