Hi guys, I've located an ADC 260 acoustic coupler and its missing the power cable. From the manual I see there are two ways to power it.
Manual here (page 2) : http://w.bitsavers.org/communications/andersonJacobson/ADC260_Operating_Instructions.pdf
1. is via the teletype DB25 connector which I assume uses the current loop power from a teletype machine
2. is via the same teletype DB25 port but plugging the cable directly into a 110V power socket.
I'm located in Europe so we use 240v. I'm trying to work out the easiest way to make the cable. Not sure if its easier to buy a step down converter from 240V to 110V and make a cable with a DB25 connector on it and power it this way? Or is there a way to use the "current loop power but via something I can connect to my 240V?
Thanks,
