Apple II Plus w/four cards - $500
I am selling this powered-ON and tested Apple II Plus computer.

It does have some issues. The RETURN key does not function although all keys do go up 'n down evenly including the RETURN, and some of the keys report back different characters than what should be displayed.

The computer does BOOT on floppies when I put a floppy card and drive on it, so it just needs the keyboard issues fixed and it will be a very nice Apple II Plus computer for somebody.

The $500 price includes shipping within the continental USA.

Im sure its an oversight, but the pictures of the back are taken out of the plastic bag while the front pictures are taken with the bag, obscuing any detail... :)

Okay, here's the front. I didn't post the initial photo simply because it was too blurry to make the monitor look nice.

FYI, cards #2 and #4 in your photo are 64k RAM cards for the Apple IIe. They won't work in a II+.

Hi,

I didn't specify all the cards were for an Apple II Plus computer ... they just come with the machine.

$500 may be ambitious

FWIW, a look at eBay's completed auctions would suggest that $200 would be a more reasonable ballpark for an Apple II Plus that doesn't come with any disk drives or other useful accessories, and even at that price point you can usually expect at least a language card (pretty much a necessity for running most disk software) but, hey, can't blame someone for trying.

Hi,

Yeah, every week or so the computers seem to jump between giveaways to $1,000+ collectables. I choose the middle price.

The only II+’s that sold for anywhere close to a grand in the last four months were two rare black-cased Bell and Howell models, and a bundle that included an original box and about a cubic meter of accessories. (Including oddities like original Apple paddle controllers.) What you have is a known broken parts unit with no drives and no language card. When I said $200 that was generous, as in, that’s about the most anyone paid for something comparable.

But hey, like I said, can’t blame a guy for trying.

Hi,

Are you offering $200 or just spewing ???

.

I'm curious why you didnt use the Apple II you borrowed the disk drive from to debug the machine you're selling, then ask closer to $500 rather than sell it stripped condition?

Hi,

I need the space in my tiny apartment ... I'm willing to sell everything for $300 + Shipping ... $450 including shipping within the continental USA ...

For outside the USA ... it's possible, but shipping might be another $200 or more.
