Almost universally, those need the drive belts replaced. It was always the problem that if one of those quit working, it was usually the belt.

However--be careful. The power connector looks like a standard 3.5" floppy connector and you can even plug the drive into one, but the +5 and +12 lines are swapped, so you'll toast the drive if you're not aware of this little tidbit. The drive signal connector is, I believe, a 26-position one, but that can be dealt with by modifying a standard 34 position cable.
