Can anyone tell me what this is?

I saw this the other day and I can't figure out what the heck it is? Best I could figure is that its some sort of system for airline reservations or controlling one of those custom terminals.

Alright then..
Do you know if this think uses some sort of proprietary data communications standard or is is standard RS-232? If not is there anything useful I could do with this thing? I thought it might make a good case for a s-100 bus system provided the power-supply outputs the correct voltages. According to the label in the bottom it's strapped for 120V operation...

I forgot to mention that it is a MO7-41
 
Most likely, the thing operates as a block-mode synchronous device. Not particularly useful unless you're into that sort of thing.

Internally, I don't know what it looks like, but yeah, there could be some interesting bits in there.
