Does anyone have a schematic or pinout for the DEC power supply, H7883-AA? I am trying to fix one.
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum @snclucas !

I don’t have the schematic, but I do have several functional turbochannel Alphas. What’s going on with yours?

Sorry for delay. I went to boot the DEC 3000 and nothing happened, my first suspect is the PSU. I wanted to overhaul it but realized I do not know what its meant to be producing in terms of voltages etc.

Hi all -- I may start a new thread, but wanted to start here (resurrection!) as it's the closest match to my situation -- I'm trying to revive a DEC 3000/600 (desktop) and have now acquired two dead power supplies. Is there anyone out there with any information on ANY of these series of psus? The ones for the desktop units seem pretty failure prone (I've done a basic recap, but I'm suspecting a shorted secondary transformer -- ie, same failure -- in both units). The power supply for the model 600 is H7816-AA -- not sure if anyone has any info on those? (asks with faint hope). I was also considering trying to hunt down the H7883-AA from this thread and trying to adapt it, but that seems a long shot.

The only related information I have is from a post on an analysis of the 3000/500 when it came out, which states:

"The Model 500 has a 480-watt output, off-line, switching regulated power supply, which includes a capacitor-input, automatic voltage-selecting circuit to permit worldwide operation without a voltage-select jumper for 120 or 240 volt (V) input. The power supply provides five outputs to the load: +3.3 V, +5.1 V-CPU, +5.1 V-turbo, +12.1 V, and -12.1 V." (https://www.chilton-computing.org.uk/ccd/mainframes/p012.htm#c10)

Anyway, cheers to all! A
