Does anyone have experience repairing IBM TP 701c?

As the title says.
I have one that stopped working and I don't understand why.
It was working fine, then it started making 1 long and 1 short beep and now it doesn't do anything.
Any suggestions?

That error beep code indicates an issue with the base 640KB RAM for the system. This could be a dead RAM module, or more likely since it's in the initial RAM that one of the soldered RAM chips has died. From what I know about these this isn't too uncommon unfortunately.

Also something to note - both the main and CMOS batteries in these are prone to leaking and may also be a source of issue. This system should have two CMOS batteries IIRC, and both should be removed/replaced as one or both leak all the time, not sure which it is.
