hi all,

i stumbled upon some Q-Bus quad height boards marked EIE, namely:
-- EIE Graphic Processor PGC32P
-- EIE LAN Host Controller 8311, 860311
-- EIE LAN Workstation

i've never hear of EIE before and looking for reference info about these boards -- anyone has a hint?

thanks & best regards,
Stoyan

Interesting. The 9367 is a 1024x512 display controller, which is kind of a weird aspect ratio unless it either isn't using the full resolution or is running a display that doesn't have square pixels. 12-bit RGB, and the board apparently has an option (not installed on the one in the picture) for another video connector, possibly sync.

No address select switches and no on-board firmware, so it probably has a fixed CSR. I don't know if the memory is dual-port or purely local to the card. Without a driver or documentation, this is likely just a historical curiosity. Like the MTI CIQBA, the cards are around but the driver has never turned up.
