External floppy drives

I have been recently given an IBM 5160. What I noticed, is that the floppy controller has a DB connector for an external floppy. I checked on some pictures on the Internet, and they show a similar port on other 5160's.

But were there actually any external floppy drives made which would use that connector? I have never seen any.

I have a tapedrive that works on that DB connector... a cool Cypher with 5150/5160 styling:

I think there were some 720K floppy drives with a big blue eject button that also work on that DB connector...

The IBM 4869 externally floppy drive works with that connector.

When 3.5" floppies were newish, I had a double 720K drive box attached as drive selects 2 and 3. Worked just fine.

Other third-party cards, such as the Sysgen Omnibridge and the Micro Solutions CompatiCard have that connector also--and give you HD support as well.
