I am not sure which version would be better. It is for old 5.25" 1.2Mb Floppy Drives in older PC Computers.

Well, the AAD requires an oscilloscope--an OEM manual for the drive can help quite a bit as to where to put the scope probe.
The digital version is easy to use, although perhaps not quite as accurate as the analog one, but certainly good enough (IIRC, it'll get you to +/- 1 mil). You''ll probably want to order the complete Drive Probe package, that comes with a couple of alignment floppies.
