Guy wants $72 for it, tho. I remember seeing someone desparately wanting one, so check it out. (No pic, but decent guarantee against DOA.) #250227994559

He's got 22 available. The Hog. :)

Err....Make that 5162-286 rather. Typoed.

If you do a search on Google for "IBM 62X1025" there are many places listed
that claim to have the XT/286 motherboards in quantity. For me it's really hard to
believe they have the quantities they claim. The XT/286 wasn't a very
common machine , and I imagine that most of them have sadly been scrapped
by now.

Here's one for $29 and they 'claim' to have 25+ in stock, actually lets me add 2 of them to my cart
and proceed to Google checkout:

Also did a search on the IBM EGA monitor 5154001 on this site and they claim to have 25+ in stock

LOL and here's a real laugh :

IBM 5154 EGA monitor for only $1,000 ..... I've always wondered what they meant by 'refurbished' , probably some guy
wiping the dust off with a rag........

I used to sell monitors to a company in northern California. They actually did refurbish monitors. Took them apart, washed and oven dried the electronics, cleaned and painted the cases. Tested/repaired if necessay and then life cycle tested them live for 48 hours.

However, as you say, most "refurbished" means they cleaned the dust off. Back when monitors sold on ebay and shipping was much cheaper, I made most of my full time living selling monitors, but I could never say "refurbished", even when I mended a cracked case.

If you are sceptical about the quantities they claim they have in stock, you are probably right. This was mentioned in another forum recently. The internet is loaded with companies that give the illusion they have large inventories of computer parts. In actuality they have nothing. They are nothing more than parts locators that somehow share a usually outdated database. You said you were able to add two of these Mobos to the cart. If yiou order them don't be surprised if you get notification in a few days that the items are "no longer have any in stock".
