someone commented that windows is a virus
this is not true

1) a virus always installs properly
2) a virus always installs quickly
3) a virus always installs with NO user intervention.
4) a virus will install no matter what hardware you have installed

wdegroot,

I think you may be right, Windows ain't a virus. OTOH, Internet Explorer *must* be a virus:

1) It installs itself on your computer whether you want it or not.
2) It can be very difficult to get rid of once it is installed.
3) It can fill up your hard drive with a bunch of useless files.
4) It can make your computer behave in strange ways.
5) It can render your computer vulnerable to a wide array of security threats from outside your net.
6) It is not very well understood by most people.
7) It can slow down your machine's performance, waste your resources, and generally irritate you to the point of utter insanity!
