Hi.

I am trying to open a monitor of a PS / 1 2121. I want to open to clean and see that everything is correct before turning it on.
Remove 4 screws and the base but I am not able to remove the cabinet. Does anyone know if he has any particular lock or something?

Thank you!

Hi.
Thanks for answering.
This monitor has the PS/1 PSU inside. This PSU has a cooler. I want to see if it is in good condition and clean it.
Regards.

I have not taken apart the monitor. Sometimes there are screws hidden under the label or rubber feet.

Hi.

I could not disassemble it, so I left it as it was, I tried to have good output voltage and use it until it can.

Here is a picture of the monitor and the PS/1 2121 (386sx 16mhz, 6mb ram, 40mb).

Thank you all.

CRT monitors usually had two hidden clips on the top where the seam was. You need a really thin flat blade screwdriver or a paint scraper to push them down to unlatch from the front bezel.
