I have a TS 2068. It was working perfectly until I attempted to plug in a DivMMC Future from TFW8B in it, naively thinking that it would work.
Not only did it not work, but then I experienced the attached pattern on the TS 2068. Furthermore, it also zapped the DivMMC which also no longer works in my ZX Spectrum 48K.
While checking the voltage on the board, I must also have shorted something because now I get a completely black screen, no video going out at all, and I only get 3V on pin 9 of the RAM chips. One of the RAM chips, the one furthest to the right also gets very hot very quickly, even at those lower voltages.
Help! Where do I go from here? Can you guide me on how to troubleshoot the power and what I may have fried on the board?

I can't help you with the repair, sorry. But, for future reference -- if you want to try to plug a Spectrum peripheral into a 2068 -- you usually need a "twister board", like this:

(I had a different one, that came with the Zebra Disk System.)

The exceptions are a very small set of devices that are broadly compatible, like the TS2040 printer. Maybe just that (and the ZX Printer?).

Confession time: I once fried a 2068 by plugging a TS1016 RAM pack into it. (Why? I had no reason to think it would work. I tried it once, and thought -- almost certainly mistakenly, in retrospect -- that I saw a higher number from "PRINT FREE". So then I tried it again... and I had to send that unit back to Timex. My only excuse is, I was 13.)

As far as getting the repair done goes, you might want to try contacting the maintainer of this website:

https://timexsinclair.com

He's very active in the T/S community and can probably help you out. He's recently updated a technical reference manual for the 2068.
