Hi,

I have a number of personal computers that I bought thru the years and somehow they became “Vintage”. I guess the old adage is true about how time flies while having fun!

My “vintage” computer collection starts about 1974 with 6800 based computers and includes just for grins a TV Typewriter. The latest system is a Commodore 64 with 1541 floppy drive, monitor and tape drive. I have not played with any of the systems in years and lately been thinking about finding suitable homes for the various systems where the equipment could be marveled at such as my Motorola 6800 CPU evaluation board with just under 1K of RAM. I cut my programming teeth on that bad boy. Being fairly handy I have begun the fun journey of bringing the systems back to life. I have revived multiple systems using mainly a variac, voltmeter, oscilloscope and soldering iron.

I found the VCF website while looking for information about a really rare Conrac 480/25 terminal I have in my collection. I found the posting: http://www.vcfed.org/forum/archive/index.php/t-73304.html. showing a slightly newer design than mine, but pretty close. I felt like I had found kindred spirits and thought I should join. I hope I can be helpful to others and get some help once in a while.

Take care,
Don
