Is there an official recommended hotel or one that most of the vcf guys stay at? Looking to book a hotel soon so we don't get priced out
- VCF South West - June 14 - 16, Davidson-Gundy Alumni Center at University of Texas at Dallas
- VCF West - Aug 2 - 3, Computer History Museum, Mountain View, CA
- VCF Midwest - Sept 7 - 8 2024, Schaumburg, IL
- VCF SoCal - Mid February 2025, Location TBD, Southern CA
- VCF East - April 2025, Infoage Museum, Wall NJ

Hotels for VCF West?

There's no official hotel. Generally, anyplace in Mountain View and surroundings is a safe bet. However I live a few thousand miles away 
so one of our west-coast people should chime in.

That said, the CHM is at the intersection of Highway 101 and Shoreline Blvd. in Mountain View. There are a number of hotels/motels that are within walking distance, depending on how far you are comfortable walking. The Mountain View CalTrain station is walkable as well, if you pick a hotel on that route.
Uber and Lyft own the streets around here so you won't have trouble getting a ride if walking isn't an option.
