How to reformat DEC RL02 diskpacks?

WillyK had a real fine, genuine DEC RL pack storage cabinet that I saw. Indeed the packs were stored vertically like LPs. LPs like to be stored vertically.

Although my LPs are stored vertically, like Dave I don't have enough space or the cool rack to keep the RL packs vertical. So, they're stacked three high horizontally. I've not had any trouble with that. However, much more than five high the pile becomes a little unstable.

My RL packs are also stored vertically. I've got a metal storage rack (like an old LP rack) that stores about 13 of them, and the rest are just under the desk.

Need to begin checking and refurbishing them all. I've purchased the materials as suggested for cleaning and inspecting - now just have to find the time.
