Identify card

I have this... sound based card that i could use some help identifying.
I bet it's some sort of sound prosessing card as it has a intel 188 cpu on it as well and i've seen this one on ebay too but with another card so i guess it can't work on it's own.

The card has the markings X-Act ver: 1.80 and studio audio & video ltd 1991-94 on it

The Crystal Semiconductor CS8411 chips are Digital Audio Interface Receivers, supporting AES/EBU, IEC 958,
S/PDIF, & EIAJ CP-340 Professional and Consumer Formats, so yeah some sort of audio interface.
 
Better Pictures isn't possible, taken with a Nokia n95 5mpixel camera.

Getting closer to the subject, and having better lighting, would make the pictures better too.

It is likely a data acquisition board, like a framegrabber, and you're right it is likely missing a daughterboard. Without the daughterboard, it is likely useless.
