Hi,
I got this video card for free, and I would like to test it in my IBM XT with 5151 monitor, but I know nothing about it.
Right now I have an MDA card that' s fully working, but this new card is a lot smaller in size.

I tried plugging in a ISA slot, and tried the dip switches for CGA but I heard some beeps, then I tried switches 5 and 6 to the ON position and I got a blinking cursor, but no memory count or anything else.
Also I notice that there's a jumper with 4 pins, not sure if I have to jump something to make it work, the 4 pins are open.

Any info would be appreciated, like what kind of card it is, etc.

Thanks

I think that card is most likely a Hercules clone card. Can you try it as an MDA card?

Most common jumper settings on a clone card would be to set the printer as LPT2: or to reduce on-card memory.

Thanks fo the replies guys.
So, the pins has nothing to do to set the card to work properly I guess.
A Hercules card should be set as an MDA card on the mobo dip switches?
Sorry my ignorance on this subject.
