After quite some discussions within the S100Computers Google Group a number of us have come up with an “easy entry” “build it yourself” board that will allow a novice electronic expert to build a CPU driven S100 board that would work by itself in the S100 bus. Indeed, initially no bus is required. One gradually builds up more complex S100 bus systems with more boards using this board.
The board and software has everything you need to run CPM3 using a USB connected terminal and an SD card as a “disk”
Later you can add other S100 bus boards to your system to build more sophisticated hardware and software systems.
Please see here for a description of the board.
Z180 SBC
For a limited time the bare board can be obtained by filling out the form here.

The board will cost $15 per board payable (via PayPal) later after receiving the board. Orders may take up to a month.
Please note, that while the board/circuits are not complex this is not a project for a complete electronics beginner. It’s for people would like to go further that Raspberry Pi, Arduino systems etc.
