ISA Solid State Drive

40 pin keyed header on the card looks like it could be an IDE interface.

It took 15 seconds with google to find this--and that Adtron is still very much in business.

I emailed the company asking if this legacy product supports 8088 CPU or
requires a 80286+....

I have another product here that is similar, uses intel flash chips and it's also an
8 bit ISA card, but the firmware requires a 80286 CPU.

:)

I wonder if the firmware is 8088 or 80286... considering it's 8bit ISA..

Not that there's going to be much of anything in the firmware, I suspect that it's largely geared toward the 286+ crowd. Consider--it requires an IDE controller to work. 8-bit IDE controllers weren't that common (I'm not counting XTA-type since those are a completely different animal).

Regardless, this thing is not worth the Benjamin that the seller is asking. Better to get an XTIDE, I think.
