Hi
I have this Kaypro 16 that I rescued and it's showing some boot errors:
"AA Keyboard bad" (odd, because the keyboard works fine), then "Mem Par NMI Int, CS:IP = F000:FEECh". Sometimes on a reset it complains about bad RAM, but this is intermittent. Occasionally there is a RAM check that comes up good (on reset).
Weird thing is, if I press F1 as prompted, it boots into DOS 2.11 and it all appears to work properly.
Does anyone have any BIOS listing or other info for this machine? Is it possible to get "into" the BIOS (assuming it has a settings screen) and if so, how? I guess not, but thought I'd ask. Any idea how the RAM chips are laid out on the mainboard?
