Macintosh Portable - display problems

Hi guys,
Few days ago I bought M Portable.
I was informed by seller about problem with stripes on the display, but I just want to know if it is possible to repair this easily (display tape) or need to replace something, find another LCD.
Any hints will be appreciated.

Usually if there's bad connections around or between the LCD and the controller I would expect to see dead lines but you are getting black lines which look to be evenly spaced. I'd then suspect a problem with the display controller but Mac Portables are a "must-recap" item so unless he's already done that it's hard to say for certain the LCD assembly is faulty.
