MAI Basic Four VX / Unix - SCSI Hard Drive needed or information on formatting non-standard disk.

Does anyone have an MAi SCSI drive for a Boss/VX system? I have 2 VX systems, one I use and the other for backup. The backup will not display on the screen and trying to fix it. For the other system, I tried a Maxtor drive, but would not work because of proprietary technology, if anyone knows how to format a non-standard disk it would help. Also I have a lot of manuals for the VX system unix and business basic.
 
looking for anyone with a Mai basic four VX SCSI hard drive or any way to format a non-standard Mai drive. The manual says it can be done but to reach out to MAI systems.
 
We are not the same user, but he is my father and we are both looking for parts and help on our basic four system. Did you talk to him?

Yes and I see you are posting very similar questions so I thought I would ask. Its very Niche machine you might have to be very patient for a response on it.
 
I understand, it has lasted for over 30 years and served us well. Fingers crossed.
