Me and my pdp-8/L

Yea, that’s true. So here are the details.
About 2 years ago, I bought this pdp-8/L off eBay. Paid a little over $1,200 for it.
It came in 5 boxes with some photos. T he pdp8 was dismantled to save shipping costs.
The case had rust on it, so I had the thing sand blasted and repainted. The power supply looked fine and powered up with no shorts or issues.
I am located out of Chico, California, USA. About 75 miles north of Sacramento of Hwy 99.
The second box, memory expansion was almost compleat except the power supply was totally taken apart and pretty much shot.
The front panel is in good shape, however the lamps were replaced with red LEDs. I changed the red LEDs to white ones.

The main reason why I wanted to sell this off, is I just bought land and I’m building my house on it. So I don’t have the interest or heart into it as I thought I did back then.
So, I’m going to sell it off to give it a chance of life.

Hope this helps

I'd be happy to make an offer on the memory expansion box. I don't need another pdp8/L though I could restore it if someone wants to buy one of my two working ones.....

Contact me via PM.

Thank you, but The PDP-8/L has been sold and paid for.

Thanks to everyone here who helped me out with this project.

I'm the very lucky person who bought the PDP-8/L being talked about and I could really use some help getting it from Chico, California to Glen Ellyn, Il (30 miles west of Chicago).

If anyone will be driving or knows of any who will be driving from any where near the aforementioned cities and has enough room in their vehicle for 2 19" x 10" x 21" boxes (pretty heavy) and a couple of cardboard boxes full of boards, please let me know. I will gladly help with gas/tolls.

Thank you.

Please direct message me.
