Hello folks,

It's beginning to look like my venerable Pinmaster 48 has given up the ghost. After writing a couple of TMS2532JL-45s recently it started giving me 'mount error' on any EPROM I put in it for reading or writing. I thought it must be something like ageing caps failing so took the top off to have a look and my word that's a fiendishly complicated looking beast. I'll post a pic if anyone's interested.

Has anyone seen this sort of error before? It's the parallel port version hooked up to an old HP desktop running XP, it's been my EPROM burning machine for years and years so the next thing I need to try is getting hold of another PC with a parallel port, as luck would have it an old MSI motherboard is arriving tomorrow for another project so I can test it on that too.

It'll be a shame if I can't get it running again, it's my only way of creating EPROM replacements for PETs and the like.

Cheers,
