Can you supply any verification that every manufacturer has stop unique seriallising of electronic goods please?

The whole USB VID/PID is a joke. Chinese vendors just grab whatever's handy.

I think Vender IDs are different than unique serial numbers....

I think the X over the trash can is about all those Chinese made exploding batteries.

Of course I could be wrong.
