I'm trying to figure out if my Epson Equity II is the oldest PC you could buy that supported soft power. (Can turn on and off at set times, plus turn on from the modem)
The machine was built in the 1985/1986 era and is more likely an XT clone than a PC clone. Was there anything older? Soft power didn't seem to become a real thing until the late AT/early ATX form factor era of the late 90's.
