I've no way to test them, Since I'm not a tech savvy.

Is that thing new old stock? Even if it was never used, it would still be worthless. The electrolyte is going to be bad after 41 years.
 
That's my thought exactly--some of the Sprague "Long Life" branded caps are almost universally dry as a dry bone now.

The usual way of rehabilitating these to preserve the experience is to open them up, discard the innards and substitute modern caps to fit inside the now-empty shell. Looks right and works right.
 
The 8800B capacitors I've got are Mallory units. They seem to be sealed pretty well, and all of the ones I've had were successfully reformed. That said, it's still a $10 capacitor.
