P500 shell for sale on Ebay - Worth it?

What I'm missing is a picture of the sticker that says it is a P500. IMHO this can also be the case of 610.

And the case is not so important, the board is.

Rear view of the US B-128 sitting on a US B500 sitting on a UK P500. The ebay auction has the joystick ports, thus it's a P500. The green light bulb with wire that connects to the motherboard of the P500 is not included in the auction. There is no name plate on the back. Wondering where the ebay item came from, my guess is this P500 was a shop/engineering sample.

Will they jam some random board in there and resell it as untested for $1000?

EDIT: I don't see any current bids anymore...

Looks like they retracted. Wow... even vintagecomputermuseum has limits. And looking at the bid history, someone else also had a bid and retracted it. Maybe they jumped the gun and didn't realize it was just a case?

My guess is that they put on the stickers then yes. They would I assume manufacture the cases on one place, the motherboards with the serial number stickers probably shipped in the same boxes of 12 or 144 motherboards.
