I'm trying to find a copy of Packard Bell Navigator 3.5. I would like the master disk in iso format. My original disk was damaged. I've looked everywhere.
Any help would be appreciated.

Packard Bell Corner Computer And IBM"s

Hello!

Are you still searching for a Packard Bell Corner Computer, and IBM Model 95?

I have three Corners, and a substantial IBM PS/2 collection. Not as large as it used to be, ( over 100 ), but the IBM's are definitely for sale.

http://home.fuse.net/bobwatts/packardbellcorner.htm

For example:

Model 720 Server ( 6 CPU's )
Model 500 Server
Model 95A ( with P90 )
Model 95 ( with 150MHz Type 3 )
Model 9585 X 2 ( one with POD83)
Model 8595 ( with P60 complex )
Model 77i ( with POD83 AND CACHE !! )
Model 76i X 2 ( with POD83 )
Model 90
PC 365 X 2 ( Dual PPros )
2 later Dual PPIII Servers
Lots of parts
probably other stuff I'm forgetting.

Located in Loveland Ohio, 20 miles north of Cincy.
Not interested in shipping these monsters frankly.

Lemme know if you're interested.

I know that version of Navigator and I do have not only the original (and faulty) but the replacement restore CD's Packard Bell mailed my father for our A940-TWR system. I still have it stored away with everything but the monitor which I wore out.
Unfortunately they are stored along with the rest of my Packard Bell components up at my parents and it may be a few months before I am to visit them agian.

Hello.

Does anyone know if Navigator is on a separate CD, or does it come on the PB restore CD? I can't remember. I *DO* know that I have about 70 factory PB CD's somewhere, and I can dig through them if I get time.

Unfortunately, I recently sent at least a dozen Packard Bell computers to the junkyard. I had a collection of almost 30 at the time. I didn't know anyone was still interested in the things.

I have a working Pack-Mate 7220 in my basement. I would like to run Navigator on my newer computers. Mainly for nostalgia purposes.

Hi Gang ! ,

Just wanted the group to know that I got your messages, and am thinking it over.

I have “almost” decided to sell one of my corner units. I *have* decided to sell off my IBM collection. ( I was hoping someone would go after that first, the whole collection. There are other items that I haven't mentioned, as well as quite a few parts. )
( This message has been sent to others as well. More interest than I expected )

I have no problem shipping the PB's, but the almost 100lb IBMs would be insanely expensive.

Thanks.

Navigator was never bundled separately. To make it a separate application you will have to find all of its components on the master CD and manually move them over to your new system. You will also need to install FaxWorks because pretty much nothing on the communications desk will behave like it should. You will also run into the limitation that Navigator is fixed at 640x480.
Ark Workspace on the other hand WAS available separately I believe.

I second that. If the link does not work you could just do a search for "The Packard Bell & Retro Computers Preservation Society".

Never mind, the link I posted was somewhat dead and got stuck at 61%

I've downloaded that before. It doesn't have any seeds. It stops at 61%. I believe it's the same one that I found on betaarchive. I'm having trouble getting it to work with vmware.

Sorry about the problems with that link, we had some issues w/ trolls so the group was set to secret temporarily. It's open again now: http://www.facebook.com/groups/PackBellClub/
Here's some of what I have if it'd help anyone, just join the group and let me know!

Also, if it's alright Bob, I saw you mentioned you're selling some of your machines? A friend of mine would be VERY interested in that PB Corner machine, any chance you'd sell it? If so I'll get ya in touch with him.

Don't get here very much, I keep forgetting.
Sure, have him contact me, I'm open to offers.
