PC-800 printer and Wafertape Drive for TI-88

I have recently acquired a PC-800 printer and Wafertape Drive which appears to be for the TI-88. I would appreciate any information I could get on these as it seems they were never in production. The printer includes the power adapter and cable. It powers on and the paper advances. The Wafertape Drive does not have any cables but does power on with batteries.

I thought the Wafertape was only made (or prototyped) for the CC-40...

Pretty much the same physically, as the Exatron "Stringy Floppy", from whom TI licensed the device. I'm not aware of people making up poetry for the Wafertape, however...

The Wafertape was a Hex-Bus peripheral, and was only for the CC-40, TI-99/4A (with a Hex-Bus Interface), or the TI-99/8. I'm interested in them as I have all three of those devices (and a defective Wafertape drive that I need to finish troubleshooting).
