Sure enough, the read only attribute is set. Sadly though unless I create an SB clone in a side car form factor, I won't be able to test this. Doh, that's a great idea!

I'll fix the code this weekend. I'll make it so the read attribute doesn't matter (that's a major goof on my part) and also hook the system timer so that it can play without sound. I'll reply back when done. Heck, I'll add monochrome support too (although since mono doesn't have a 40x25 mode it isn't going to look pretty).

Sorry, I got diverted trying to write a memory-resident capture routine for Geoworks that bypassed the keyboard (uses joystick button to trigger), only to get delayed, only to find at the 11th hour that geoworks ALREADY HAS ONE in the EXTRAS directory. Argh. I'm glad, since it works much more cleanly than mine (mine was hard-coded to the 6300 graphics mode).
I'll poke around tonight. I'll also make sure I have a video that fits onto a single 360K disk so that it can be run without a hard drive.
