What is the proper way to answer this question when prompted on the console:

.RUN SDA1 DIRXBD.SV

MAINDEC-08-DIRXB-D
REMOVE DIAGNOSTIC DISKETTE^E

SELECT DISKETTE DRIVES
SR=0750

I'm afraid my DEC SPEAK translator is broken today.

I'm about to check the source code to see what it does next.

The documentation just says:

Further reading tell me what I need to know. Here is my latest session. Why does it say no drives selected?

I think that the diagnostic is ready to scribble on whichever floppy/floppies are associated with IOT device codes 675x. You are expected to remove the diagnostic diskette, replace it with a scratch diskette, then optionally correct the device code, if it is not 75. For instance, to make it use 676x, you'd type "0760" before hitting enter.

Current results:

MAINDEC-08-DIRXB-D
REMOVE DIAGNOSTIC DISKETTE^E

I'm still totally confused. Is this test only for the RX01 and not the RX02?

SR=0750 6750
You want 0750 if that's your card address. It wants the device code portion of the IOT as Vince said.

Yes. Title of diagnostic is RX8/RX01 data reliability. If writeup doesn't say RX02 you need drive in RX01 compatibility mode.
http://www.pdp8online.com/pdp8cgi/query_docs/tifftopdf.pl/pdp8docs/dirxb-d-d.pdf

You need AIRXAE, AIRXBF for RX02.
