I got an email message from ebay letting me know that one of my saved search items ("msbc-1480") was just listed but I didn't recognize the name so I clicked on it but still didn't know what it was nor did I remember saving a search for it. Well, I did a quick search and figured out that it was a video board for a multibus system. Cool! I have a handful of Intel single board computers - a SBC 80/10A from the 70s, a SBC 86/12A from the 80s and a SBC 80/10B from the 90s- so I must have seen the part number/name someplace and decided to save the search on ebay. The board was apparently new old stock, still in the original box it was shipped in and w the original paperwork and the b.i.n. price was super low so I decided that I shouldn't pass it up.
Guess I need to get myself a multibus card cage and a power supply. Anyone know of a cheap and/or d.i.y. card cage (or some type of equivalent apparatus) for multibus? I know where to get a power supply. Also, anyone have any experience with this or similar video board for multibus?
