I just dragged it out from collecting dust and did a bit of work on it but the HDD caddy is nowhere to be found.
Honestly I'm not big on buying a new one because I need to sell this Mac to claim some space.

Any thoughts on some kind of hack?
I'm not a stickler for quality either, hell, just look at it's new "pram battery"

I've fabricated mounts using erector set parts several times when doing custom work, like my mini-itx Mac Plus.

Also don't underestimate that 3M automotive grade double sided tape, or heavy duty velcro either, those can hold like crazy too (just don't seal any vent holes on the HDD using it). These can usually be found locally at autoparts stores, and even usually at stores like Walmart/Sear/Target in the automotive isle (or sometimes craft isle or hardware isle for velcro since it has so many uses). Even 3M command adhesive tabs would probably work if you used a bunch of them.

EDIT, I see you plan on selling this, I don't know if I would trust any of the adhesive mount options if you will be SHIPPING the computer, while they would hold up to general use and handling, they could break free in shipping with all the stress of that, and then they would bounce around the insides destroying the computer. If done right, erector set mounts could stand up to shipping just fine though if you are able to attach them solidly to the drive and the computer chassis.

I think the power button was made of the flimsiest plastic possible.

After both plastic wings snapped off I had to glue the switch in place, that worked fine until the button head broke off.
Has anyone else jury rigged something for a power button?

I think I know what the caddy looks like--a plastic thing with little protrusions on the bottom to match up with the case mount, right?

I've wondered if you could do one with some heavy aluminum sheet and a nibbler...
