Printer sharing

I have an Apple IIe, Apple IIc+ and Apple III.

I want to have one ImageWriter printer connected to the three Apple computers with a manual selector switch. What type of switch do I need?

A DB-25 switch box for RS-232 serial use should work fine. They come in 2-way and 4-way varieties. Just be mindful of cabling issues.

Thanks, I guess the question is now what type of DB25 cable should be used? Null modem, straight through, etc.?

Printer cables should be null modem wired. The Super Serial Card if you machine has one can be set to whatever mode you want too.
