Hello folks,
I need some help. It looks like the PS/2 corvette cards (click here for picture) use a [large] SCA68 connector internally on the board. Is the only way seriously buying the IBM FRU 92F0327 cable?
--> the entire internet doesn't have a picture of the 92F0327 cables, but I am assuming the header connector is SCA68 to the regular U320 68 pin connectors, judging from the IBM parts list, and a few videos I saw.
I couldn't find a SCA68 adapter anywhere. And the ONLY cable I have which goes from SCA68 to a regular U320 68 connector are two cables I pulled from IBM xSeries. And they are the smaller SCA-type connectors, not the larger type as found on the SCA80 hotswap drives and the SCA68 on the corvette.
Anywho.. if anyone knows of an adapter or where I could get a cable for the MCA Corvette cards, I'd be very thankful. And I've always considered myself to be pretty good with SCSI interfaces... IBM's curve ball here really has me going!
EDIT:
I suppose I should say I want to go from SCA68 to regular U320 68 pin connectors as I have a lot of these HDDs.
